Anchorage People Mover Bus Transit System

Anchorage People Mover or Anchorage City Bus offers unlimited bus trips daily on the local people mover bus system for just $4.00 per person per day. These day passes are available upon entering the bus. For those new to the city this might be a better way to get around town instead of an expensive car rental with the limited parking and all the parking fees in the downtown area these days.

Anchorage People Mover Day Passes are good for unlimited rides on day of use. Day Passes are sold on the bus for use on the day of purchase. NOTE Exact change is required as the bus operators do not have the ability to make change. Anchorage People Mover Day Passes may also be purchased in advance at various outlet locations.

People Mover City Bus Service.

Starting off with the municipality run public transit system, People Mover, is the name of the Anchorage City Bus Service that operates year round within the metropolitan area and between Anchorage and Eagle River to the north. Although People Mover is an excellent choice for getting around within the city, there are times that the schedule or routes just don't work out. For that reason we are adding alternative bus services here also as well as on the interactive portion of the site.
