If you Arrive via the “Alaska Railroad”.

The Alaska Railroad has two terminals in Anchorage to better serve your vacation needs. The downtown Anchorage Train Station located at 411 West 1st Avenue, along side ship creek has been serving the needs of travelers for many years.

Alaska Cruise Ship Arrival.

Several times per year during the summer, cruise ships arrive in the port of Anchorage. Although the exact number varies from year to year. Most cruise ship passengers arrive in Whittier or Seward Alaska and then take a train, tour bus, or rental car to the city of Anchorage.

Tour Buses, Princess Tours and more.

Princess Tours opperates a large fleet of busses that are used for guided tours in the Alaska highway system. With their cruise ships arriving in the port town of Seward Alaska, these busses are used for venturing out into the far reaches of the Alaskan Outdoors. Most bus tours include lodging in the package price but be sure to conferm this ahead of your arrival.
